Truth & Prophecies PT 9
So, this morning around 8:30am I woke up in my car after sleeping for like 3 - 4 hours at a rest stop in Oregon somewhere... Not to sure, but don't really care. I'm on my way to see Nikki and that's all that matters to my heart. Finally got here into Rosamond CA around 10:49pm. Holy crap; did I have to sit in a lot of wacked out traffic with a bunch of Semis that made the issue take so much longer, not to all these Cali drivers cut in as much as they can. I thought people in WA state were in a hurry, you ain't seen nothing until you drive the I-5 south past Sacramento. WOW be careful!!! I had to drive past a freakin' JEEP CHEROKEE on fire... How crazy is that, posted the video on my Facebook. So I'm finally here, my heart is so light. Being the two accidents and road construction I had to drive past, took me 2 - 3 hours of time I could have been here sooner. Nikki came out after I pulled into her park, oh my god I was so happy to see her. She doesn't know but I almost cried just picking her up as I hugged her, I am so happy to be here. I think I could have lit up the entire city of Tacoma with the energy I was feeling in my soul. Well, I'll post more after my trip as internet out here is scares.
Truth & Prophecies PT 8
10 minutes to go... Hurry gotta clean this work area up, I can't believe the time is already here. YEEEEEE HAAAAAAA! Baby I'm almost out the door and then its off to the Freeway! Oh crap, Curtis called and needs a ride back to Portland. Well since I'm going that way why not. I'm so happy, but so worried at the same time. I'm not nervous about seeing her, I'm just so overly excited my brain is spinning and I'm like is this a dream and I'll wake up in the control room of the TV station with color bars playing.. NA this is real, I know it in my heart. So long I've prayed for this moment. Well, not sure when I'll update again as where I'm going she doesn't exactly have internet like we do here. The people down there are more simple, lets go hang out and do something... At least that's what I'm told. Wish me luck, safe journey and may my dream be erected into reality. Here I come Cutey!
Oh yeah, I updated the playlist so you can hear some them KILLER Ayria songs :D

DAS AUTO
Well, I finally got my very first car! Yep Yep, my first car... .. a VW
Now some might ask, how is that if you've had vehicles before. Well simply put, I actually bought this one on my own, just me. No partner in crime to pick it out, no one else helping me pay for it. Just my name on the title! Now granted I took a slight cut by selling the old Van to my parents but in the end, it works out for everyone. I'm happy and the gas mileage will totally help me as I prepare for my trip down to Rosamond, CA
Can't wait, I'm finally going to see Nikki again after 4 months of waiting and having my vacation pushed back twice. 1 week 2 days an counting ♥

Irish meets Goth or the Gothic Leprechaun
Puyallup Celtic Faire 2011
This was quite a treat on many levels... I happen to stumble upon this event through a work email about local activities. The day was great with WA providing a moment of good weather too boot. The kids loved being out and playing with all the other kids that came to the event, though this was a very interesting event as a lot of it was geared toward dog owners and dog awareness. Along with many treats for our four legged friends, an the possibility to adopt sheltered animals if you did not have one and was looking for a companion. The Main street in Puyallup leading to meridian had many stores involved,
especially with all the coffee shots serving Irish cream drinks and many other delectable treats. One music store along the way had a fabulous local player laying down some great talent on a Harp, the sound was just hypnotizing and capturing of the soul. The Leprechaun was most friend, and gave the kids each a piece of Lucky Gold coin; however they were still not going to give in a at first to Dad *myself* wanting pictures of them. That lasted only until we found the fishes. We traveled the whole strip to see what all was going on, looking for all other activities taking places during th
is event. We got to sit and watch as the local Sounder Train went by, and the kids screamed with delight and a bit of fear as that train was a movin' and was mighty loud. Took a picture of a train for the kids so they could remember were we had been that day and another shot of the festivities with the dogs and Leprechaun.
Grandma ended up buying the kids Cotton candy after and they were super happy. In all the getting up early and out of the house on time was most worth every moment I got to spend with my kids. Its days like this after I do not get to see them everyday when I wake that makes me thank God that their is always a Rainbow out there to shine down when I most need it. L8R that night, my day really kicked in.... Me, Al, Michael, Jess, Rose & Tim headed for SEATTLE!
It was AYRIA -
THE BREAKup
& Dead When I Found Her
Live all ages for $10.00 show at EL Corazon.
I have to say, for the several times I've come here this night seem to be the quiets of them all, not sure who makes the decision on the noise volume but I do recall the first time I saw Ayria and the BREAKup with Project Pitchfork it was much much more louder. Not that it was a bad thing that that this night was quieter, it just almost seem to have a different vibe and feel I guess. None the less the performances were awesome, Dead When I Found Her did a phenomenal cover of Phil Collins "IN THE AIR TONIGHT" wow that was awesome. I think we may have gotten footage of that, I'll have to look. The BREAKup our local home town goth heroes where just as great as the two times I saw them before. They played a set of new material that they had just put together, although it was very distinctly different from there first material it was re ally good. An their stage presence was much cheered by the crowd of followers like myself that really enjoy not only there on stage performance but the music itself. Now on to my favorite. As like the first time I saw Ayria, front woman Jennifer Parkins continues to steal my Gothic soul with her vocals, performance and very personal attitude toward the fans. Ayria is truly about the music and bringing a radical live performance that can only be witnessed by the masses, a must see any chance Ayria comes to town. Not only did the set include a great selection of material, but they even performed an edited version of
"Lovely Day" ..Now, I must say this song out of the whole set, this touched me the most as I saw her draw tears while singing this song. I don't know about you but, that is the true embodiment of music at its most powerful. I too could feel the emotion, and I doubt for myself I will ever see or feel something as powerful in such a setting.
A lot of request apparently were taken through Facebook. Gotta love social media right, although the song I wanted to hear was not an actual Ayria song, Jen did respond to my request letting me know that it was a cover track on the bonus CD. Oh well, its an awesome cover none the less. I'll update my playlist so you all can hear some of these killer tracks. The rest of the night rocked, as I was close to the stage and got to see another fan of Ayria lay down some vocals to one of the songs as the microphone was put to her lips. The woman did an awesome job, an obviously like many others there knew the song quite well. Hearts for Bullets & Blue Alice
another set of songs that just got the crowd jumping. Of course my other favorite "INVISIBLE" wow just so great to hear live since the first time I heard it. Switchblade Symphony may be dead, but that is where Ayria picks up the corpse and brings the most melodic bewitching of a dead soul back to life. Overall, I could not be more then overjoyed when I left last night with the music still playing in my ears, Michael too enjoyed it and said yes they were all good but Ayria was to be the main talk on the car ride home.
I will leave with one humorous note, as I sat in the bar before DWFH took to the stage, I saw Jennifer Parkins enter the bar through security. Now not only did I find it funny that the door man obviously didn't know who she was as he asked for her ID, but I would have to say if I had no clue who she was either it would be like passing her on the street you would have no clues. Without the gear, Jen is a very attractive woman and would leave you unknowing to what she really does for a living when the moon does rise!

The Tree I Would Be
I came to here in pieces, like a whisper on the wind.
I leave here now, like a picture without a frame.
Scattered to the stars, but always right here, from my place to yours.
Look up and I can see you, as I look up so you can see me.
We walked, we talked, saw places new to me.
So amazing the fire in your eyes, when you told me,
shared in me, the wealth of your memories.
Like watching you smile at the other end of the phone,
or hearing you laugh when I close my eyes to sleep.
Cherish forever that first time by your side,
Never forget the first time I saw you sleeping,
Always wanting to wake and see you there.
In the rain, in the snow, in the summer or spring time glow.
I would be your tree, a place to carve your name.

Portland & Back
It is most regrettable you were unable to come up here during this short holiday that I had. Not to mention that my vacation time to visit you has been pushed back, no matter it is probably for the best as Curtis' Spring break will be coming up in march and that will be a greater time for all of us to hang out. So here I am in Portland, OR with two of my truly good friends: Henry & Curtis not to mention that Alex was around for a bit but didn't hang the whole night. This past nights experience has opened my eyes to a much needed redemption of understanding, that has demystified the whole "STRIP CLUB" thing. Where to begin, what can I say that will not be held against me by others or that will grant me a wrong label. To start, Strip Clubs in Portland are as common as AIR! Now, take a guy who is 30 years of age and about to enter his second Strip Club in his entire life. Now add the facts of predrinking and that I smoked more WEED in one night then most beginning teenagers will ever see in one sitting amongst friends. Onward to the Strip Clubs it was, we must have hit 5 or 6 Clubs in one night. Pretty damn impressive until I saw how much I spent on drinking in one night, Not a healthy choice for any bank account. So damn the women were HOT! Damn it was very upclose and personal but I was so HIGH and Buzz from all the ALKY that it wouldn't have mattered cause the equipment was not going to work no matter what I saw or felt. HAPPY IS ALL I KNEW FILLED WITH ECHOING LAUGHTER. I think the weird is part is when my two buds got so desperate for some action with the ladies, that we ended up in some really bad (SHIT HOLE) club and they ended up doing some lines of coke with this stripper we were talking to. (Now I will say this, I did not partake in the snorting of the coke, I was offered but chose not to. Saying no is not always a bad thing, and as for me there are limits to what I'll do. Sex in a public place fine, flashing ppl great but when it comes to drugs and other altering materials that exist in the world so will never be for me and this is such a moment that has made me proud I stuck to my beliefs) She (the stripper) seem to wonder off pretty quick after that all happened, needless to say no one got anything out of the night except for me :D
I woke this day feeling like a Crack Rabbit on Viagra, I probably could have produced 7 or 8 great Porn scenes in several hours. Wow it truly is something to experience full stimulation of the sex drive and not be able to have your brain function until all the Weed & Alcohol exit your body. It does suck to feel this way at the very moment but WTF you gonna do about it right? I told those two ya who coke heads (HA HA.. I TEASE) that next time just to put their money together and get a working girl instead of wasting money on that crap that did nothing for any of them. One vice versus another should weigh heavy as to what is beneficial to my friends. It just comes as no surprise what riding the tides of the freestyle life is like, this just further proves the things in life that scare me and why I have to take all things in stride. Plus, with most situations we come to learn what we find ugly in life and will remember never to do again. No fear of judgement, as we all have a moment we have lived free and let others do there things as you did your own. These are things that feed on my fear of people and life. Stepping back and grasping the things you do, then see for what they are? Maybe a fun moment sure, but actions that shall never be relived; as for what kind of friends you keep and the things in life that they do? Let the shadows of there makings and doings in life be what they are, as it is there choice in life to do or live in harmful ways not mine and so I leave with the understanding that people will choose to do what it is they find fit for themselves. As for me, no matter how I looked at any of the nights adventures, she was always there in the back of my mind. An I will mention that I just got off the phone with her before writing all this. How I long to be where you are Nikki, life is fun at times but you haunt my waking days and dreams that I wish for nothing more then to see you. Time to drive home, food first then back to Tacoma!
