AND THEY'RE OFF!! That's right, its the Puyallup Spring Fair again :DCan't believe it's already over. Happens so fast each year, especially as the kids get older. Where to start... Ok, so we got there and the sun was shining high in the sky calling for a great day to be. Gotta love the fact kids still get in for free too :D Found the schedule sheet from the information booth and found they would be doing an interactive pirate show today. It worked out well as you can see above as we went and saw a Fire Truck and then into the 4-H Swine barn. Visited a few cows, and met a heffer in full leather called "Hottie Girl." Then we made our way out to the "Swifty Swine: PIG RACES" Our pig only won once (Better luck next time #4) and Arnold Schwarzenhogger beat out Barackaribs Obama in the last race... further proving Arnold to be the healthiest pig of them all. Food was alright this year, went completely generic with a fair burger and chicken nuggets for the kids. Of course the kids had to have a Roasted Ear of Corn and I the tasty Elephant Ear. Though it did rain for a little bit here and there we made our rounds without any problems... Then came the "Cutest Show" where all the kids get to dress up and be apart of the show. This was the Pirate show I mentioned in the beginning, and how well done and very interactive the show was. The Captain, a sassy lass made Sasha a fish with the water wand for the Mermaids and when she asked Simon to be a Pirate, he said "I'm a be Captain Hook!" and she laughed loudly and told the audience, "my isn't he an ambitious one!" Simon even kept the eye patch and clothes on during the entire show, just plain awesome. Look forward to that part of the fair again if they come next year. Off to the KIDZONE went after that to get face's painted. One Dragon & One Unicorn (Noted as My Dragon & My Horsey) then we let the kids play in the legos for a bit. Made sure to get our Frisbees done too, now we have one for each of the kids this year. Coming out of the KIDZONE we followed a marching Scottish group with several bagpipes and big drum. Love the sound of Bagpipes, always have - always will. Molly and the kids do too. After a bit of music it was a small puppet show and then off to the Petting Zoo. By the end here the kids started chasing the goats which is a no, no and apparently it was time to go! Walking back to the van is when the start of the real rain came. We were all completely soaked after loading up the kids and stroller and all our belongings. Got home from such a wonderful day, that Molly & the kids passed out until the next day.... ... So much fun can truly wear you out!! See you pigs and pirates next year... .. Its is great to recall what you did, but truthfully nothing compares to the memory of each smile my family gave to me on that day and how happy each one of them was to be there with me and each other. May you find your own traditions and keep them going until the end. Keep up the P.A.C.E.
3hours after everyone was asleep.... ... GAME ON!! That's when the boyz showed up and I hooked everyone up and got the addiction going. We are all now (I've been playing for a while but now have my friends on the Naga Server) official RAPPELZ players. Michael took the Dark Magician path & JJ went down the Strider path. I will have to pass on my DM cards once I reach JLVL 50 and transfer over too a Warlock :D
5 More weeks and I'll have it.
